Learning violin as an adult Research study
Introduction Learning to play a musical instrument is a common dream for many individuals. However, for adults, it may seem like an unattainable goal due to perceived limitations in their ability to learn and the belief that it is too late to start. This study aims to investigate the process of finding adult violin students and follow their journeys to determine how it is possible to learn to play the violin as an adult. Methods To conduct this study, we will need to use a qualitative research design, which involved interviewing 10 adult violin students who had started learning the instrument within the past five years. We also need to interview their violin teachers and observed their lessons. The participants will need to be recruited through local music schools and online violin forums.
